Life Membership

Ours is a nonprofit making voluntary organization chiefly dedicated for reorganizing the ex-students of different batches passed out from our school. It has got other benevolent activities as well including extending financial assistance to various needy people, who may be ex-students or any teaching or non-teaching staff of Vidyapith.

In order to consolidate such activities, the organization obviously has to garner adequate financial resource. It is for such purpose it maintains a standing corpus, which is retained along as a fixed asset. The annual interest earned out of it is being spent against different necessary purposes. Since the association has no source of regular income, it is really difficult to meet the different financial necessity arising out of different situations. Thus in order to handle this increasing demand, the association earnestly requests all ex-students of the Vidyapith to become a life member of the Alumni Association. This appeal is being disseminated to all ex-students, who are yet to be the life member of the Alumni Association, regardless of batch and the seniority.

There are of course some benefits of becoming a Life Member for an ex-student.

Benefits of becoming a life member

A Life Member enjoys certain discount during attending each reunion, which is organized on every alternate year. This benefit will be available for the whole of lifetime of an ex-student. The subscription rate in a reunion for a Life Member is Rs 150/-, while a non-life member has to subscribe himself by paying Rs 200/-. Moreover the life members are normally in close touch with the association and are therefore updated about various events and activities taking place in the organization.

How to become a Life Member

The alumnus can become a life member by simply paying Life Membership fee of Rs. 515/-, once in lifetime. This amount can be paid through cheques or demand drafts, which should be drawn in favour of PURULIA RAMAKRISHNA MISSION VIDYAPITH ALUMNI ASSOCIATION, payable at Kolkata.

The bank account details of the Association is attached herewith (please login to view it) to facilitate the payment using online fund transfer. Contributors are requested to provide the details (name, year of passing, date, amount, purpose, sender bank name, transaction code / cheque no.) of the transfer to the Assistant Treasurer of the Association so that the Association can identify the contributor & give due credit to him.
