Registration for Alumni Meet at Belur Math

Registration form for the Alumni Meet at Belur Math on 28th & 29th December, 2019 is attached herewith.

Fees for non residential delegates are Rs 300 per head and Rs 200 for accompanying guests.
This form duly filled up and signed along with the fees should reach the Association office by 31st July, 2019. Vidyapith will not receive any fee or form from any ex-student.

So far our ex-students of Purulia RKMV will be given the status of non-residential delegates till further orders are received from the Belur Math authorities.

Ex student Utpal Sengupta passed away

With deepest grief it is informed that Utpal Sengupta of 1983 batch passed away at his residence at Delhi two days back.

Son of Sukharanjan Sengupta, journalist of Anandabazar Patrika, Utpal da, a bachelor, was in service in Delhi.

He left behind his mother.

May his soul rest in peace is our prayer to the Almighty.

Financial assistance to Vidyapith students

It has been observed recently that some misconceptions are prevailing in and around the Vidyapith fraternity with respect to providing of financial assistance to the present students of Vidyapith.

In the backdrop of the 125th Anniversary of Swamiji's Chicago address, a special program will be organised by the Vidyapith authorities on the 17th July, 2019 at the Vidyapith premises where Srimat Swami Suviranandaji Maharaj, General Secretary of the Board of Trustees of Ramakrishna Math and Mission has consented to remain present and preside the function.

We request ex students to join the funtion.

Alumni Meet Belur 2019 Invitation

As part of the 125 th Birth anniversary celebrations of Swami Vivekananda's addresses at the World Parliament of Religions, Chicago, the Ramakrishna Mission is going to organize a two day All India Alumni Meet at Belur Math on the 28th and 29th day of December, 2019.

Ramakrishna Mission Vidyapith has got a quota of 200 Non Residential delegates and has to inform the Belur Math authorities by 15.08.2019. Ex students having age of more than 25 years as on 01.12.2019 are eligible to join the same.

Ex-student Ardhendu Majumdar passed away

With heavy heart we inform that Dr Ardhendu Majumdar, ex-student from 1970 batch, passed away at New Delhi on 28th May, 2019.

Ardhenduda was a teacher of Physiology in a medical college. He and his wife Sivanidi were regular in Vidyapith reunions earlier. He was a lover of music.

May his soul rest in peace is our prayer to the Almighty.

Ex-student Sagakpam Romen passed away

With heavy heart we inform that in the unfortunate incident of boat-capsize at Ramrei/Chadong village, one of our beloved brothers, Sagakpam Romen, left for heavenly abode. He was a member of 2009 batch.

May his soul rest in peace is our sincere prayer to the Holy Trinity.

Ex-student contesting against the Prime Minister

Sri Tapan Dasgupta of 1981 Batch is contesting as a SUCI candidate against Sri Narendra Modi at the Vadodhara constituency in the ensuing Lok Sabha elections.
