Contribution by ex-students of 1977 batch

To commemorate the  40 years of their passing out which coincides with the Diamond Jubilee of the Vidyapith, the Ex students of 1977 Batch have donated Rs 2,52,001 to their Alma Matter for educational sponsorship of 6 girl children from Classes V to X of adjoining villages of Vidyapith every year from the interest generated out of  the Corpus Fund donated by them.

Ex students of 1977 Batch have been actively involved the Teachers Day Celebration of Vidyapith for the last 6 years. 

A Teachers vs Students Football Match is being organised by them every year. Champions and Runners Up Trophies are been given to the participant Teams in the beloved memory of Late Sushil Ghosh and Late Sardar Bir Singh respectively and medals being given to the match officials and all the players of the match. High Tea is also being arranged.

Contribution by 1975 Batch

The Puja Samagri at the Sri Ramakrishna Mandir was sponsored by the ex students of 1975 Batch on 18th November, 2017.

The Association extends its heartiest congratulations to the ex students of 1975 Batch.

Contribution by 1995 Batch

The ex students of 1995 Batch have handed over Rs 10,000 to commemorate the Diamond Jubilee of their Alma Matter.

The Bus will Start at 10pm from L20 Bus Stand , Esplanade, Kolkata.

Subscription Rates for the Reunion 2017

Subscription rates for Reunion 2017 are the following:

  • for Ex Students - Rs 1,000 per head.
  • for others (Family Members, Drivers) - Rs 500 per head.

Ex students are requested to collect the Food Coupons at the time of Registration from the Association Office at Vidyapith.

The same will be required to be produced before the Association Representative at the time of entering the Dining Hall during Lunch and Dinner times on 18th and 19th November, 2017.

Arrangement of Buses for the Reunion 2017 from Kolkata

In context of the cancellation of Trains, Bus arrangements have been made to facilitate the participation of Members in the Reunion.

A Non-AC 2 by 2 Bus of West Bengal Transport Corporation will start from Esplanade at 10pm on 17.11.2017 and will reach Vidyapith the next morning.

The same will start on 19.11.2017 at 3pm from Vidyapith.

The Bus is 45 seated.Fare will be Rs 600 per head.(for to and fro journey).

Members are requested to intimate batch wise to increase the number of buses if necessary.

Howrah Chakradharpur Passenger to run from Midnapore on 17th November

This is a bit urgent.

The Howrah Chakradharpur Passenger train will start from Midnapore instead of Howrah on 16th, 17th & 18th November.

Members willing to attend the reunion are requested to take note of this and make alternate arrangements. Any plans to take Purulia Express on 17th November should be notified as a comment to this post so that transport, accommodation and dinner can be arranged for 17th night.

Participation of Family Members at the Reunion (Headcount), 2017

Members are individually requested to inform through this site the no of family members who will be  participating the ensuing Reunion with him  on or before 12.11.2017. Please comment the same on this post.

Members are requested not to make any telephonic calls to any particular member(s) for this purpose and discharge his responsibility.
