Registration for Alumni Meet at Belur Math

Registration form for the Alumni Meet at Belur Math on 28th & 29th December, 2019 is attached herewith.

Fees for non residential delegates are Rs 300 per head and Rs 200 for accompanying guests.
This form duly filled up and signed along with the fees should reach the Association office by 31st July, 2019. Vidyapith will not receive any fee or form from any ex-student.

So far our ex-students of Purulia RKMV will be given the status of non-residential delegates till further orders are received from the Belur Math authorities.

Financial assistance to Vidyapith students

It has been observed recently that some misconceptions are prevailing in and around the Vidyapith fraternity with respect to providing of financial assistance to the present students of Vidyapith.

Donation by Dr Tapendra Mullick

In the Fund handover ceremony in the hallowed memory of Swami Putanandaji Maharaj on 30th March, 2019 at the Vidaypith Auditorium, Dr Tapendra Mullick of 1973 batch and President of the Alumni Association donated Rs One Lakh for the development of sports in Vidyapith.

The Association extends its heartiest congratulations to him.

Swami Putanandaji Memorial Fund handover completed

The Association completed the entire distribution of Swami Putanandaji Memorial Fund on 30th March, 2019 at Vidyapith.
A total of Rs 10 lakhs was handed over to Purulia RKM Vidyapith and a total of Rs 3 lakhs was handed over to Deoghar RKM Vidyapith in installments.
The fund will be utilized for educational assistance of students in and around Vidyapith out of the interest accrued from the corpus. The Secreatary of the schools will select the eligible candidates.

Contribution by 1994 batch

The 1994 Batch contributed Rs 9 Lakhs to Vidyapith on 19th January, 2019 as a token of love and respect to their alma matter.

This is the highest contribution by any batch to Vidyapith.

In a very short period of time, 61 boys of the Class accumulated the sum to be paid and the fund will be utilized in the renovation of the Vidyapith gymnasium and upgrading the Gallery of the School to a Smart/Digital Class.

The Association extends its heartiest greetings and congratulations to the boys of 1994 Batch.

Dr. Tapendra Mallik contributes for the study of a student

A student of class IX was about to leave Vidyapith due to financial reasons. Vidyapith made some considerations with respect to school fees but still there was a shortage of funds.

Thankfully, Dr. Tapendra Mallik (1973 batch), the President of the Alumni Association, came forward to bridge the gap and took it up on himself to pay Rs 50000/- per year for the next two years.

The Association respectfully congratulates Tapen da for his noble gesture.

19th Reunion Scheduled

The 19th Reunion of the Alumni Association is scheduled at the RKMV, Purulia premises on the 16th and 17th day of November, 2019.

Vijaya Sammilani scheduled for 2018

The Vijaya Sammilani for the year is slated on 11th November, 2018(Sunday) at Marble Palace, Kolkata from 5pm onwards.

Members are requested to join with their family members.

Swami Putanandaji Memorial Fund handed over at Deoghar Vidyapith

Swami Putanandaji Memorial Fund handover to Deoghar Vidyapith

A function was arranged at the school assembly of Ramakrishna Mission Vidyapith, Deoghar on 14th Septemebr, 2018 where a corpus of Rs 3,00,000 (Three Lakhs only) was handed over to the Deoghar Vidyapith authorities in the memory of our very beloved Swami Putanandaji Maharaj.

As was resolved amongst us, the funds will be utilized to cater the educational needs of boys and girls around Vidyapith Campus and Secretary Maharaj of Deoghar Vidyapith shall have the sole discretion in the selection of the students.

1995 batch contribution

This year on Teachers' Day, 1995 Batch members Biplab Mahato and Haradhan Ghatwal handed over the Cheque of 50001/- INR to Vidyapith to sponsor the education of needy meritorious students of Higher Secondary.

The Association congratulates 1995 batch for their great effort.
