T-shirts at the Reunion

The Alumni Association will be bringing T-shirts for sale at Rs 250/- per piece during the Reunion.

The T-shirt is white in colour with sky blue collar (as in our sky blue school dress) and the arms also having the same colour bands. The monogram of the Association is stitched on the Pocket. Sizes will be Medium, XL & XXL.

Members are requested to collect the same on payment from the Association Office.

Reunion logistics

The Alumni Association requests all members who are attending the upcoming reunion:

  1. To strictly maintain the Reunion Schedule.
  2. Not to smoke/drink or create any nuisance within the Vidyapith premises.
  3. To arrange your accommodation at the Vidyapith Hospital (for ex-students from batches 1961-1970), Vivekananda Sadan & Sarada Sadan (for ex-students from batches 1971-2000) & Kalyan Guest House outside Vidyapith (for ex-students from batch 2001 onwards). No ex student is allowed to stay at the Guest House during the Re union. Contact person - Sanjay Chattopadhyay / Rana Sengupta (1983) / Subhankar Maity.
  4. To contact Sanjay Chattopadhyay / Satyajit Raychaudhuri for accommodation at the Guest House for ladies and children.
  5. To collect the bedding (Toshak / Balis / Kambal / Chaddar) from the Reunion Office and return it there on 20th Nov, 2011. No bedding shall be transported for any reason to the Vidyapith Guest House or Kalyan Guest House.
  6. To complete the Registration formalities and collect the Food Coupons for each head from the Reunion Office at Vivekananda Sadan on payment of the requisite fees. Reunion Fee is Rs 300/- per head. Members reaching Vidyapith on 18th Nov, 2011 are requested to complete their registration after dinner. For any assistance contact Jyotirindra Dhar Chowdhury / Sanjay Chattopadhyay.
  7. To produce the Food Coupons for each head before the Association representative at the time of Lunch/Dinner on 19th Nov, 2011 & 20th Nov, 2011.
  8. To collect T shirts on payment of Rs 250/- per piece from the Reunion office. Contact Person - Dipak Adhikary(1966) / Dibyendu Mazumdar(1966).
  9. To contact Nilanjan Bhattacharya / Bisanka Biswas for participation in the Cultural function on 19th Nov, 2011. Message from the most revered President Maharaj

Revered Swami Atmasthanandaji Maharaj wishing 2011 reunion a grand success

The Alumni Association feels honoured to receive the blessings of the most revered Srimat Swami Atmasthanandaji Maharaj, President of Ramakrishna Math & Ramkrishna Mission. Revered President Maharaj has wished the 15th Reunion of ours a grand success.
Below is his complete message which is a source of inspiration for all alumni:

I am happy to know that Purulia Ramakrishna Mission Vidyapith Alumni Association will be celebrating its biennial reunion on 19th and 20th November 2011, at the Vidyapith premises.

Subscription Rates for the Reunion, 2011

It has been decided that the subscription rates for the Reunion, 2011 will be Rs. 300/- (Rupees Three Hundred only) per head.
The subscription has to be deposited at the Reunion Office in the Vidyapith Campus at the time of the Reunion. Members are also requested to collect the Money Receipt therefrom on deposit of the money.
Any member facing any problem to pay the amount may contact the General Secretary of the Association for assistance. It is hereby clarified that money should not be a constraint for any ex-student in joining the Reunion.

Advertisement for the Souvenir & Donations

As members are aware that conducting a Reunion involves huge expenses, the Association requests members to tide the situation in the form of collecting advertisements and donations.

Wheelchair handed over to Panchuda

In view of the present health condition of Panchu da, the necessity of a wheelchair was felt and accordingly a new wheelchair has been handed over to him.

The Association expresses its gratitude to Prantik Sinha (1988) for his valuable assistance.

Articles requested for Souvenir, 2011

As we all know by now that the 15th Reunion of ours is scheduled at the Vidyapith Campus on the 19th and 20th day of November 2011, 'Abhudaya', the souvenir that we publish in our Reunion, is also going to be published.

We request members for articles to be published therein. Kindly restrict the content of the articles within 2 A4 size papers.

Matters may be on any subject as Members desire and think themselves to be fit to be published in the Souvenir.

Blood donated for Panchuda

The Association has managed to find 3 blood donors for Panchuda so far, one being our fellow ex-student and the other two being friends of ex-students. The names of three donors are -
