Ex-student renders Kathamrita in audio format

Amitabha Chattopadhyay, an ex-student of 1984 batch took a great initiative of making Kathamrita available in audio format and accomplished that.

Contribution by 1985 Batch

The Ex students of 1985 Batch have presented the Vidyapith boys with two sets of Cricket Kits -one meant for the junior boys and the other for the seniors.

The boys are highly delighted to find them and very enthusiastic Cricket Coaching is on at Vidyapith.

Sri Kajal Khan of 1983 Batch has been instrumental in procurement of a Coach for the Cricket team which has further increased their interest in the game.

After a long time the Red Deus Ball is back at Vidyapith !

Invitation from Baranagar RKM

Swami Sivapradananda aka Saikatesh Maharaj, an ex-student and ex-headmaster of Vidyapith and currently the secretary of Baranagar Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, welcomes everyone at the school exhibition and the annual festival.
All these are part of the year-long celebration of 150th birth anniversary of Sister Nivedita.

The dates are 19th to 27rd January, 2018.

Prize Giving Ceremony

Dr Sandip Basu, Ex Student of 1988 Batch will preside as the Chief Guest at the Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony at Ramakrishna Mission Vidyapith on 23rd January, 2018.

Dr Basu is the Head of Academic Program, Radiation Medicine Centre(Bhava Atomic Research Centre), Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai and is in Additional Charge of Dean, Academic Health Sciences, BARC.

Dr Basu is also a Santi Swarup Bhatnagar Award winner.

Education Minister's Best Wishes for Reunion, 2017

To commemorate the  40 years of their passing out which coincides with the Diamond Jubilee of the Vidyapith, the Ex students of 1977 Batch have donated Rs 2,52,001 to their Alma Matter for educational sponsorship of 6 girl children from Classes V to X of adjoining villages of Vidyapith every year from the interest generated out of  the Corpus Fund donated by them.

Ex students of 1977 Batch have been actively involved the Teachers Day Celebration of Vidyapith for the last 6 years. 

A Teachers vs Students Football Match is being organised by them every year. Champions and Runners Up Trophies are been given to the participant Teams in the beloved memory of Late Sushil Ghosh and Late Sardar Bir Singh respectively and medals being given to the match officials and all the players of the match. High Tea is also being arranged.
